Future Perfect & Future Perfect Continuous

The future perfect connects the present to a particular time in the future. By that time, we imagine having completed the action. The future perfect uses will + have + past participle (been/done/seen etc.)

a) By the time I am 30, I will have bought my first home.

The future perfect continuous connects the present to a particular moment in the future, when we will be in the process of doing an action. The future perfect continuous uses will + have + been + -ing.

b) By the time I am 29, I will have been looking for my first home for at least a year.
